Aircraft Planner Job Description

As an Aircraft Planner, you will be responsible for preparing work packages and ensuring spare availability prior to work commencement. This role involves working with technical crew and various departments to ensure smooth and timely completion of planned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Work Packages: Create detailed plans for aircraft maintenance and repairs, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Support Technical Crew: Provide assistance to technical crew members in their daily tasks, ensuring that all necessary information is available and up-to-date.
  • Liaise with Departments: Collaborate with various departments, including purchasing, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of planned tasks.
  • Data Input and Analysis: Enter data into SAP system, analyze results, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Monthly Program Planning: Develop and track monthly programs for completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to aircraft maintenance and repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP system and its applications in the aviation industry.
  • Diploma in Aerospace Engineering: Holding a diploma in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Working Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the aviation industry.
  • Shift Work Arrangement: Comfortable working flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
