Job Overview:

As a Semiconductor Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of semiconductor equipment by performing setup and troubleshooting tasks as needed. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize system design, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Setup and Troubleshooting: Develop and execute comprehensive procedures for setting up and troubleshooting semiconductor equipment to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Process Optimization: Work closely with the engineering team to analyze and optimize system design, leveraging expertise and resources to drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate records of engineering improvements and best practices, ensuring knowledge is shared across teams and accessible for future reference.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to resolve complex system issues, applying problem-solving skills and critical thinking to find effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience in setting up high-precision/automation equipment.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong knowledge of electro-mechatronic systems and their applications, with experience in Semiconductor Assembly and Test environment, especially with AOI/Vision Inspection machines.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and creatively to drive process improvements.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel overseas for field support when required.
