Overview You oversee the Safety Management System and safety culture development at the Command level, which includes making scheduled inspections and visits to workplaces and deployment grounds. Responsibilities Work with line units and Unit Safety Officers (USOs) to promote open reporting and investigate safety incidents Supervise development of safety officers Function as Command's primary interface with the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) Safety Inspectorate Challenge(s) - Maintaining familiarity with safety matters in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), industry, and governmental bodies Navigate the SAF and DIS organisational networks to establish new working relationships and enhance existing processes Qualifications At least 6 years of working experience, with minimum 3 years in safety or equivalent aspects Qualifications in Workplace Safety or equivalent field or being qualified ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor with an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or its equivalent is preferred Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
