What you will be working on:
The job-holder is expected to collaborate with various teams (within HTX and across Home Teams) and is responsible to:
Define new opportunities for Home Team impact through identifying meaningful insights from exploratory data analysis.
Design and conduct data science experiments to test hypotheses and validate model results, ensuring rigorous methodology and reproducibility.
Conduct data pre-processing for feature engineering, build machine learning model pipelines and improve model performance.
Implement workflows for monitoring model drift and retraining.
Interact with product teams to identify questions, opportunities, and challenges for product impact.
What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in STEM disciplines.
  • Applicants with system architecture design and product deployment experience will be considered for more senior positions.
  • Strong understanding in one or more of the following areas:
    Language AI – Spoken: Multilingual Speech-to-Text / Text-to-Speech / Speech-to-Speech, Speech deep-fake detection.

Language AI – Written: Multimodal Document understanding and retrieval / RAG systems.
Edge Computing.
Simulation: Digital Twin Modelling and Simulation tools.
Optimisation: Mathematical programming, Constraint programming.
Link Analysis: Network/Graph analysis, Predictive modelling.
All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
