EI Holdings is committed to academic excellence and holistic development. We are hiring an IB English Language teacher to support students in mastering the skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English.
Teaching duties
Teach IB English Language at MYP and DP levels.
Design lessons that strengthen grammar, vocabulary, and communication in English Language.
Prepare students for assessments in English Language and develop confidence in oral skills.
Support writing development, including essays and creative tasks.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure progression in English Language skills across grades.
Non-teaching duties:
Participate in professional duties as necessary outside of the scope of the school day (e.g. Field trips, professional development on weekends as needed, and after school meetings as required)
Supervise duties at break/lunch and/or other unstructured times
Lead/coach an after school CCA (co-curricular activity)
Assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs
Provide any other reasonable duties delegated by the School
Contribute to school continuous improvement by being a member of assigned committee or work group
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics or related field.
Experience teaching English Language in IB or international schools.
Ability to engage students with diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Strong understanding of IB MYP and DP approaches to language learning.
