Our client is a Fund Management firm within the Real Estate industry, looking for a seasoned Finance Manager to join them.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the organisation and its managed funds.
Analyse financial data, highlight key trends, and share insights with senior management.
Ensure all reports meet accounting standards, statutory rules, and fund requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting for the organisation and its managed funds.
Work with department heads to gather and consolidate financial data.
Track budget performance and highlight key variances to management.
Accounts and Tax Compliance for Funds
Oversee accounting and tax matters for managed funds, including performance reporting, distributions, and filings.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage accurate and timely preparation of all tax submissions for the organisation and its funds.
Audit and Risk Management
Coordinate annual external and internal audits for both group and fund entities.
Support risk management activities and help implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure financial practices meet all legal and regulatory standards.
Strategic Planning and Advisory
Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Provide insights to improve financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
Assist in preparing reports for senior management, stakeholders, and the board.
Project Management
Lead finance-related projects, such as new fund setups, loan refinancing, or process improvements.
Administer and maintain the financial system, ensuring accuracy and system enhancements.
Liaison and Communication
Serve as the finance contact point for other departments and external partners.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and consultants.
Leadership and Team Management
Support the Financial Controller in managing the finance team.
Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines
Possesses recognized professional accounting qualification
Minimally 8-10 years of relevant Finance experience
Relevant prior experience within Fund Management/Real Estate will be highly advantageous
