Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Physiotherapist
to join our multidisciplinary team at a Senior Day Rehabilitation Centre. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy interventions to elderly clients, promoting mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for elderly clients with various physical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and client goals.
Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants.
Collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Educate clients and caregivers on home exercises, fall prevention, and mobility aids.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in geriatric or community rehabilitation.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with the elderly and promoting active aging.
