Team Introduction
TikTok Search-Multimodel Team focuses on building industry-leading large model-based search technology. Our team has positions in China and Singapore, attracting top global talents. With deep expertise in NLP, CV, and multimodal technologies, our team combines engineering practices with academic research to continuously explore cutting-edge applications in search technology. Leveraging TikTok's vast data resources and powerful computing capabilities, our team provides a solid foundation for technological development. Through large models, our team aims to address challenges in complex search scenarios, with technical achievements directly applied to TikTok's search functions to enhance user experience and support business growth.

Responsibilities
Develop LLM technologies for diverse search scenarios, including pre-training strategies and efficient RLHF, to improve relevance, recency, and other key aspects.
Utilize MLLMs for visual representation learning and video understanding, strengthening search retrieval capabilities.
Design personalized ranking algorithms that understand user intent and deliver tailored search results.
Build reliable, low-latency online search services with large-scale data to ensure stability and superior user experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Final year or recent graduate with a background in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related fields.
Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning, with experience in NLP, CV, or ML.
Solid programming skills and fundamental algorithm & data structure knowledge.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Linux development environment and skilled in C++ and Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large model companies.
Experience in search, recommendation, or advertising fields.
Publications in top-tier conferences such as ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV and ECCV.
