Perform maintenance and repairs on plant mechanical systems such as gearboxes, conveyors, elevators, pumps, compressors, valves, etc. Conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Assist with other duties as required by the supervisor. Follow company policies and work in accordance with HSE management systems. Maintain good housekeeping in the workplace. Attend safety meetings and make safety suggestions. Report unsafe conditions and act accordingly. Support safety equipment and guards. Execute regular maintenance schedules prioritizing safety. Identify potential hazards and report unsafe conditions. Support ISO system duties. Ensure safe repair, fabrication, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Support 24-hour plant operations. Requirements Minimum NTC (class II) Nitec certificate or equivalent with 3-5 years of industrial experience. Practice safe work procedures. Teamwork and communication skills with plant personnel. Ability to troubleshoot. Knowledge of overhaul procedures for plant equipment like furnace steel conveyor belts, rotating equipment, welding, and fabrication.
