As a Trade and Pricing Professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's commercial strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cost-effective solutions that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with carriers, feeders, and trade teams to secure favorable freight rates and optimize logistics operations.

">

You will be responsible for coordinating with trade teams to develop outbound business opportunities from APAC to the rest of the network, as well as independently handling pricing for all projects, including Spot requests and Tender RFQs generated by sales teams across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

">
  • Negotiating freight rates with carriers and feeders to achieve optimal costs ">
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures to increase profit margins ">
  • Coordinating with trade teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them ">
  • Independently handling pricing for all projects, including Spot requests and Tender RFQs ">
  • Ensuring timely responses and quote submissions to network offices for RFQs and business enquiries ">
  • Planning and scheduling logistics solutions to meet customer delivery commitments ">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">

Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field (Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent)

">

Junior to Executive level, specializing in purchasing - Corporate, Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent

">

Minimum GCE O Level qualifications

">

A strong understanding of commercial activities and logistics operations

">

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

">

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

">

A problem-solving mindset with a focus on cost savings and optimization

">
