We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-impact engineering solutions. Strategic Priorities Design mechanical systems and equipment in line with project requirements. Support assembly and debugging phases to ensure smooth project execution. Collaborate closely with Project and Department Managers to align with daily and strategic goals. Take on additional responsibilities such as Mechanical Engineer Level 2, Level 3, or Assistant Project Manager, based on project needs and personal growth. Participate actively in project meetings and contribute to team discussions. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with suppliers to support project timelines and quality. Contribute to the improvement and standardization of mechanical engineering practices. Participate in design reviews and ensure designs meet budget and schedule expectations. Develop mechanical designs for stations based on internal URS and project specifications. Support validation and software teams in creating and testing packages aligned with customer requirements. Manage ERP entries and monitor delivery schedules. Prepare assembly start packages and pneumatic schematics. Generate accurate and timely mechanical documentation for customer projects. Compliance & Regulations Adhere to Mikron and customer policies and procedures. Comply with Mikron Singapore's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations. Skills & Knowledge Proven ability to perform core responsibilities and critical tasks effectively. Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently and in teams. Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of industry-standard engineering practices. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor. Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or at least 3 years of relevant experience. Additional Information Occasional travel may be required to support project or supplier engagement. Flexibility to support project milestones, which may include extended hours or special scheduling.
