Responsibilities
To conduct monthly Fire Safety Manager Inspection and submission of the monthly report
To conduct half-yearly Fire Drill (Twice yearly)
To conduct half yearly Table Top Exercise (Twice yearly)
To submit the FSM Annual Report to Building Owner
To set up Fire Safety Committee and Review of the FSC SOP
To conduct monthly Fire Safety Committee meeting
To formulate and review of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) from time to time
To register as Building FSM with SCDF portal
To involve in annual building FC renewal and endorsement on Fire Certificate Renewal form
To ensure ALL the fire safety and fire fighting requirements are on working condition at all times
To supervise the maintenance of all fire safety works in the premises
To ensure the occupant load of any part of any building does not exceed the capacity prescribed under the latest Fire Code at all times
To ensure that all occupants are familiar with the means of escape located within the premises
To prepare and submit the Fire risk assessment to building owner
To prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants of the premises
To provide training, co-ordination and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team for the premises in fire-fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
To provide training to the occupants in the premises in fire fighting and evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
To co-ordinate and supervise the occupants within the premises in fire fighting and in evacuation in the event of fire or other related emergencies
To supervise the operation of the Fire Command Centre in the event of fire or other related emergencies
Once per Month Prepare and implement the Arson Prevention Plan for the premises
To notify the Commissioner immediately upon the occurrence of any fire incident in the premises
To organise campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the occupants within the premises in establishing a fire safe environment
