Cronos is the leading blockchain network that interoperates with both Ethereum and Cosmos technology, supporting Decentralized Finance, NFTs, and Metaverse. It aims to massively scale the DeFi and decentralized application (Web3) user community by providing builders with the ability to instantly port apps and crypto assets from other chains while benefiting from low cost, high throughput, and fast finality.
Cronos Labs is the ecosystem accelerator of the Cronos chain. It drives the development of Cronos and its ecosystem, deploys a broad range of programs aimed at growing user and developer adoption of Cronos, and incubates selected Dapps in order to bootstrap the Cronos ecosystem.
Since the mainnet launch in November 2021, Cronos has surpassed 4 B $ in total Defi asset value and safely processed more than 70 million network transactions. It is home to more than 500 Web3 projects and close to a million crypto users, growing at a fast pace.
Cronos is an open-source project backed by Crypto.org, Crypto.com, and more than 500 Dapp developers and partners. It is powered by the Cronos ($CRO) cryptocurrency. Together, these partner communities number more than 80 M crypto users.
As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various venture projects, i.e., projects that are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped fast with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, including AI-driven interfaces and agent-based systems
Responsibilities
Design and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale infrastructure
Create web applications in a distributed environment
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Frontend, DevOps, QA, and PM, to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
5+ years of relevant working experience, at least 3 years in web development experience
Experience building and shipping DeFi applications is a big plus
Experience with AI agent frameworks is a big plus
Experience creating and optimizing prompts for AI models is a big plus
Understanding of the core principles of the front-end frameworks used in ReactJS
Experience in using state management tools like Redux, Zustand
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Familiar with RESTful API and GraphQL. familiar with data
