Financial Administrator
About the Role:
The Financial Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the church's financial operations, ensuring seamless execution of fiscal responsibilities. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, technical acumen, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:

• Annual Budgeting : Collaborate with ministry and department leaders to establish a comprehensive annual budget.

• Budget Performance Monitoring : Regularly assess and report on budget performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Compliance and Governance : Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Charities Accounting Standard and IRAS guidelines.

• Tax Filings and Declarations : Oversee timely submission of tax filings (e.g., GST) and statutory declarations.

• Financial Policies and Procedures : Develop, implement, and review financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain accountability and stewardship.

• Insurance Management : Manage the church's insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for assets, activities, and liabilities.

• Committee Support : Provide secretariat support to the Finance Committee and Investment Committee, guiding the management of church assets and resources.

• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and support the finance team, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong technical aptitude in finance and accounting software.

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
