Overview Trainee Broker, NDF – TP ICAP. This is an entry level role on the NDF desk in Singapore offering on-the-job training and exposure to the financial markets. Responsibilities Promote TP ICAP as a company Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems Resolve trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies Keep trade records up to date Update real-time manual / electronic whiteboards with market data Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis Give live quotes to traders through the messaging systems Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products / procedures Liaise with clients (via telephone and face to face) to understand business objectives and provide a reliable and efficient broking service Develop new business with existing clients and on-board new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team Experience / Competences Essential Degree/Diploma holder in any discipline Outgoing & good communication skills Desired Has a fundamental knowledge in Financial Services 1- or 2-years working experience preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply Job Details Location : Singapore - 50 Raffles Place Seniorirty level : Internship Employment type : Full-time Job function : Finance and Sales #J-18808-Ljbffr
