Company: Luxury Bakery Cafe Location: Central Job Description: Our client, a Japanese luxury bakery café brand entering the Singapore market, is seeking a Store Supervisor (Area Manager Candidate) to join its founding team.Inspired by the concept of lifestyle cafés by global luxury houses, this brand aims to offer not only exceptional pastries and beverages, but also a refined, immersive experience that embodies Japanese craftsmanship and hospitality.The Supervisor will initially serve as the Store Manager of the first flagship café, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation. As the brand expands, this role will evolve into a multi-store leadership position, responsible for maintaining brand integrity and operational excellence across all locations.Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the flagship café to deliver a premium customer experience in line with the brand's concept Uphold and continuously enhance QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) and brand presentation standards Implement sales initiatives and in-store activations in alignment with the Branding Manager's strategy Monitor financial and operational performance, ensuring profitability and efficiency Recruit, train, and inspire store managers and service teams to deliver exceptional hospitality and storytelling Manage product display, ambience, and customer flow to reflect the brand's luxury positioning Oversee stock management, cost control, and compliance with hygiene and regulatory standards Handle customer feedback with professionalism and ensure consistent service recovery practices Support new store openings, including staff training and operational setup Collaborate closely with the Branding Manager and Director to uphold the brand vision and operational consistency across all outlets Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B retail management (preferably in premium or luxury environments) Proven leadership in managing store teams and achieving operational excellence Strong understanding of QSC and customer service management Strong understanding of brand experience and service excellence in a luxury retail context Ability to manage multiple outlets and balance both strategic and hands-on tasks Excellent communication and people development skills Proficiency in Japanese is an advantage to communicate with Japan HQ Passionate about creating refined and memorable customer experiences that reflect the brand's values Interested applicants please apply directly for further shortlisting review.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
