Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments. Experience in architecture design and building elements (e.g., roof, facade, flooring etc). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or a professional engineering license or a Professional Engineering (PE) license. Experience with cross-discipline teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural). Experience in managing multiple projects. Responsibilities Provide architectural engineering expertise for design‐related activities in connection with Google data centers. Serve as an in‐house technical advisory and authorized technical representative in architectural engineering matters. Work with stakeholders and partner teams, external vendors including Architecture and Engineering, suppliers and contractors to execute the architectural design and interrelated disciplinary co‐ordination including permitting. Provide architectural guidance. Review design principles, drawings, calculations, submittals and provide constructive feedback. Maintain Google standards while advising any localization required. Provide and drive solutions for consideration and approval. Update and maintain the internal design specifications, guidelines, requirements and standards to the latest configurations and solutions based on new requirements, lessons learned and feedback.
