The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement function, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and implement robust procurement strategies that align with the company's strategic objectives. What you will be responsible for: Strategic Procurement Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that support the company's business goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate terms and conditions. Monitor market trends, including price fluctuations, supplier performance, and new technologies, to adjust procurement strategies accordingly. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high levels of service, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary. Facilitate supplier development programs to enhance supplier capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Cost Management : Lead cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management. Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement decisions align with overall budget and financial targets. Cross -Departmental Collaboration and Demand Management Liaise with business and R&D departments to clarify material specifications, technical standards, and delivery timelines.
