About This Role: The Operations Analyst will build strong and collaborative relationships with internal business partners to support new members’ onboarding journey into Asia Next, conduct onboarding screening checks, schedule periodic customer due diligence reviews, and trigger reviews on positive alert hits from daily AML sanction and database screening. The successful candidate is also expected to provide operational, client servicing, and account management support to member queries relating to their trades or transactions on the Asia Next platform. In addition, the successful candidate is expected to execute onboarding and other operations tasks in line with documented standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with other departments (e.g., Commercial, Compliance, Technology, and Risk) to ensure a smooth onboarding journey for new members with proper account setup for trading connectivity after account opening approval. Update the standard operating procedure to align with new processes and workflow changes in collaboration with Compliance and approval from the Head of Department. Support other operations tasks as required from the Head of Department, including Market Surveillance, trading, and custody operations. Support members’ deposit and withdrawal requests, and internal cash reconciliation with Asia Next nostro banks. Conduct functional and regression testing in non-production environments for new enhancements or hotfix releases before actual deployment into production. Back up to support monitoring of the hourly settlement run schedule in the production environment, if required. Qualifications & Experience: Education Bachelor’s degree or diploma in banking, business, or finance. Experience and Skills 3 to 5 years of working experience in AML screening in banks, securities firms, or fund management industry, preferably for corporate or institutional clients. Familiar with regulatory AML compliance guidelines and procedures in Singapore. Good stakeholder and people management skills. Versatile individual who is willing to support coverage for different operations tasks as needed. Keen interest to work, learn, and grow in a fast-paced start-up environment.
