Job Description
We’re seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist
to join our Treasury Team in Singapore
. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to Wise's mission within the Finance and Treasury Tribe, impacting millions of people by optimizing operational processes on a global scale.
Treasury is responsible for efficiently moving the right
amount
in the right
currency
at the right
time
to serve our customers, all while minimizing costs. To excel in this role, you should be passionate about process automation, dedicated to enhancing efficiency and ready to tackle challenges head-on. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp mind for synthesizing crucial information to make informed decisions in time-critical situations. Additionally, you'll demonstrate a holistic perspective to shape future plans for the team.
Your mission:
Wise has been at the forefront of revolutionizing international money transfers and currency management.You'll play a crucial role by:
Managing cash movements, planning and executing FX trades to ensure timely delivery of customers' funds.
Overseeing hedging strategies, monitoring the market, and managing exposure risks to maintain competitive pricing.
Taking ownership of team and company processes, fostering relationships as a key point of contact with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Innovating and improving global money movement processes to achieve closer to instant and free transfers.
Collaborating with payment operations specialists, engineers, analysts and product managers to drive product and process improvements.

Qualifications

Some extra skills that would be awesome:
Academic or work experience in Finance/accounting/banking/trading is advantageous.
1 - 3 years of experience in a responsible operational specialist role - demonstrating trust in executing operational processes and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using data to prioritize tasks and support claims.
Additional Information
Salary: SGD 5,550 + RSUs
