We are looking for a passionate and experienced GCE A-Level English Teacher to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in delivering the A Level curriculum with a focus on language analysis, literary criticism, and advanced writing techniques, while fostering intellectual curiosity and exam readiness. A special focus on supporting international students.Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English that is aligned with the Cambridge/Edexel Secondary IGCSE A Level syllabuses. Equip students with strategies for excelling in rigorous A Level examinations (General Paper and English). Prepare students for international examinations, including Cambridge/Edexcel Checkpoints and IGCSE A Level. Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and teaching materials. Monitor and track students' progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' learning. Stay updated with Cambridge curriculum changes, best teaching practices and attend training that is conducted by Cambridge International. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in English, Education with proven experience teaching GCE A Level General Paper and English (minimum 3 years preferred) Deep knowledge of GCE A Level General Paper requirements and exam preparation techniques. Ability to motivate students to achieve excellence while nurturing a lifelong love for learning. Experience teaching international students is highly preferred. Establishing a classroom presence and using your personality to connect with students and create a positive learning environment. Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
