Solution Architect - Digital Product & Ecosystem, Asia Pacific (APAC) Job ID: JR Western Union is a global leader in financial services, dedicated to making financial services accessible to humans everywhere. This role is based in either Singapore or Sydney, Australia, and focuses on delivering digital products and services to our customers. Role Overview: Lead the market team’s solutioning and product architecture efforts in Asia Pacific, working with product managers, UI/UX professionals, and engineers. Responsibilities include understanding and validating features, detailed design, partner integration, testing, and software configuration management of front‑and back‑end systems. Role Responsibilities Lead the market team solutioning and product architecture efforts in Asia Pacific. Develop and implement detailed PRDs in collaboration with central product teams and developers. Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on quality, time to market and system interoperability. Recommend improvements to existing software releases. Work with a range of digital ecosystem partners on payments, wallet, cross‑border, and marketplace vendors on integration, operations and settlement issues. Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams. Work with a software development team and service providers in a geographically distributed structure. Work independently on complex projects. Understand agile methodology and follow sprint and release UATs to ensure quality by monitoring unit test, code coverage and integration tests.
