Finance Compensation Data Specialist (1-Year Contract)Role summary: This role will report to Distribution Compensation Operations Lead to support distribution channels of PACS’ end to end process in ensuring compensation payouts are accurate and timely while ensuring all financial operations are in-compliance. The role is expected to lead change and sub-stream of Company’s evolution into digital space where being passionate about data analytics is a must. Responsibilities Manage the reviews/validation of various distribution reports (e.g., production tracking reports). Manage end-to-end activities to ensure validations are according to business rules, timely and accurately. Translate business requirements from business cases/requests and visualize business data; analyze data to identify patterns and draw insights to support business decisions. Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders to contribute analytical insights into the business process. Propose solutions and support development of processing models; present explainable outcomes to support operations and execution of key distribution compensation strategies. Troubleshoot and provide interim solutions for business continuity. Assess new and existing processes for enhancement to enable consistent data aggregation/reporting/processing. Finance Operations lead/representative for systems or tools that support compensation (e.g., new systems, system migrations, data structure changes). Qualifications & Skills 4+ years in data analytics, business analysis and finance operations, preferably in financial/insurance industry in Singapore. Familiarity with database, cloud, and FP&A tools. Experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, Anaplan, Python, Power BI, SQL, etc. Good business sense with ability to balance objectives, process efficiency and risk mitigation. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines; ability to handle ambiguity and manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds. Problem-solving skills and courage to make judgment calls when required. Education Degree in Finance/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics. Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.
