Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team.

This role involves performing rack-and-stack activities for servers, storage, and networking equipment, as well as supporting burn-in and testing processes for new hardware.

  • Perform technical tasks related to server deployment and cabling.
  • Support the deployment of new equipment and ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
  • Monitor equipment during deployment and report any issues that arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and support teams to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • ITE or Diploma in Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and cabling standards.
  • Able to lift and move equipment when needed.
  • Willingness to work in a data center or technical environment.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in data center or IT support roles.
  • Understanding of ESD safety, burn-in testing, or IT hardware handling.
