Key Responsibilities:
1. Welding Operations Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise welding activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and implement welding procedures (WPS/PQR) in compliance with AWS, ASME, API, or other relevant codes.
- Ensure proper selection of welding methods (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored, etc.) based on material and project requirements.
- Monitor weld quality through inspections (VT, UT, RT, MT, PT) and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for weld defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation (welding logs, inspection reports, certifications).
- Supervise welders, inspectors, and technicians, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Organize training programs to certify welders and improve skills.
