Main Responsibilities:
Communicate and liaise with sales support on the confirmed sales order delivery date and address.
Obtain quotations from forwarder agents on freight costs and transit times for sales support or customers.
Advise on the readiness of orders available for local delivery/export/direct delivery to port terminal/wharf to sales support.
Assist in arranging transportation with forwarders for delivery or export shipments.
Check inventory availability for sales support coordinators.
Support the sales team in providing product samples or pictures as required by customers/distributors.
Assist and support the sales team on urgent shipments due to last-minute requests from customers/distributors.
Communicate and liaise with storekeepers on the required deadlines of pick ticket orders.
Ensure deadlines are met and all stocks are available with correct items.
Upon receipt of scanned pick tickets, ensure product serial numbers are inserted in EQ order and captured in Navision.
Ensure customer PO numbers are printed on the delivery orders and delivery routing.
Prepare shipping documents (PI/PL) for export shipments and provide shipping marks to the warehouse for labeling.
Assist in arranging fumigation for wooden pallets to be exported to countries requiring fumigation certificates.
Verify transporter invoices to ensure no overbilling before sending to accounts department for payment processing.
Ensure all orders have been posted out from Navision to generate delivery orders.
Work closely with forwarder agents and maintain good rapport to obtain the best rates and services.
Build good relationships with storekeepers to work effectively as a team.
Provide full support to purchasers, admin, and accounts as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in logistics, material planning, or coordination roles.
Minimum 'O' levels or Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with associates who only speak Mandarin.
