Responsibilities: Lead and manage ship repair, construction, and conversion projects from planning to completion, ensuring schedules, costs, and quality standards are met. Chair daily VSCC meetings to coordinate hot-works and incompatible jobs onboard, safeguarding personnel and property. Monitor project critical paths, resolve on-site conflicts, and coordinate sequential activities to keep work on track. Liaise closely with classification societies, ship owners, engineers, vessel crew, and agents to achieve successful project delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering teamwork and trust. Identify and capture additional works, preparing detailed work lists and liaising with the Commercial Department for competitive pricing. Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and naval/marine quality standards. Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering. 5 -7 years’ experience in project management for ship repairs within marine or heavy industries. Possess SRM Certificate Knowledge of project scope involving pipe and cable laying. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; able to manage projects independently.
