Mathematics Educator Required

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Educator to teach Primary and Secondary level Mathematics in a tuition centre setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum and be able to effectively engage and inspire students of varying abilities.

  • Conduct engaging and effective mathematics lessons for primary and/or secondary school students.
  • Curriculum development and materials to engage students.
  • Deliver instruction in line with our curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of mathematical concepts.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and questions.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Prepare and mark assignments, quizzes, and other assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and management.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a NIE-trained teacher, Ex-MOE teacher, or a current teacher.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education (with a focus on Mathematics), or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in teaching Primary and/or Secondary Mathematics in a Singapore school or tuition centre setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with various teaching pedagogies (e.g., inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction).
  • Experience in curriculum development.
