Sales Development Representative, ASEAN
Location: Singapore
What You’ll Do
Identify high-potential customers, research Rubrik’s value fit, personalize messaging to prospects, and generate high-quality new business meetings for the company.
Responsible for outbound/inbound activities for enterprise prospecting by contacting via email, social, and phone to qualify prospects and set meetings.
Follow up on inbound leads generated by Marketing and maintain timely follow-up within compliance metrics.
Collaborate with the aligned field sales team and develop strategies for breaking into new accounts.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and cybersecurity developments; articulate how Rubrik can help.
Be an expert on Rubrik’s offerings and how we help customers keep their businesses running.
Use CRM tools (Salesforce and Outreach) to manage leads and sales activities.
Own your business and sales targets, and report results to stakeholders.
Develop sales skills through team pitches, boot camps, training, and ongoing coaching.
Participate in ongoing coaching; note that telephone calls to and from prospects and customers may be recorded for quality and training.
Work in-office at least 2 to 3 days a week for coaching and camaraderie.
Experience You’ll Need
More than 2 years of sales-oriented work, B2B sales, marketing, and/or lead generation experience.
Must have ASEAN experience, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Experience with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam is a plus.
Exposure to customer service experience.
Interest and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
Desire for a successful career in sales/business development.
Written and verbal communication skills for concise and professional emails, LinkedIn, and phone communications.
