The Strategic Planner will support Emerson's organizational growth, long‐term planning initiatives, and cross‐functional alignment by developing frameworks, conducting market and internal analysis, and translating insights into actionable plans. Job Summary The Strategic Planner will support the development of the annual strategic plan, long‐range outlook, and growth roadmap for Pressure Management AP, coordinate the quarterly strategic cadence, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to evaluate business cases for initiatives, product expansions, and market entries. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Support the development of the annual strategic plan, long‐range outlook, and growth roadmap for Pressure Management AP. Support the annual planning cycle through analysis of market and competitor trends. Prepare executive‐ready materials for AP/Global Reviews. Coordinate the quarterly strategic cadence, ensuring alignment across countries and functions. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to evaluate business cases for strategic initiatives, product expansions, and market entries. Drive follow‐up actions from strategic meetings and ensure accountability and progress tracking of key initiatives. Maintain a structured repository of strategic data, market insights, and presentation materials for leadership use. Who You Are: You readily action new challenges, effectively communicate in various settings—including one‐on‐one, small and large groups, and with diverse stakeholders—and persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. For This Role, You Will Need: 3 to 6 years of experience in strategy, business planning, management consulting, or corporate development, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment. Strong analytical, problem‐solving skills and the ability to draw insights from data. Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex information into concise executive summaries. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies. Self‐starter with high ownership, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
