The SingHealth AI Office brings together a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the academic medicine of tomorrow.

Our office has four key functions:

  • Drive research and development
  • Attract commercial partnerships
  • Support AI analytics and governance
  • Support AI education

As a Senior AI Scientist, you will play a key role in driving innovation and advancing the field of healthcare AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate different AI algorithms for various projects
  • Spearhead technical development and explore novel methodologies
  • Support the development of cluster platforms and coordinate data collection for analysis
  • Foster active collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Publish research outcomes in reputable journals and outlets
  • Present scientific outcomes and strategies to project leaders and collaborators
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports for senior management
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior AI scientists

Requirements

  • PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in academia or industry, specifically in AI, machine learning/deep learning, or digital health technology
  • Ability to drive AI initiatives that translate effectively into clinical applications
  • Strong understanding of clinical research principles
  • Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning programming, and other state-of-the-art AI techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and creative frameworks
