We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
Project Manager
to oversee HVAC-related projects within a facilities management environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and upgrades — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
– Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, scope, and resource allocation.
Budget & Cost Control
– Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and costs remain within approved limits.
Team Leadership
– Supervise and guide subcontractors and professionals, providing direction and performance oversight.
Vendor & Contractor Management
– Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet project requirements.
Quality & Safety Assurance
– Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards; implement protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
Risk Management
– Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing circumstances to keep projects on track.
Stakeholder Communication
– Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
Documentation
– Maintain accurate records of project contracts, schedules, drawings, and invoices.
Problem Solving
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical, operational, and client-related challenges promptly.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field.
Equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
HVAC or Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP) will be an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC project management or a related field.
Proven success managing large-scale HVAC installations and upgrade projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including schematics and control circuits.
Solid understanding of HVAC codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently, under pressure, and within deadlines.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
