What You Will Be Working On
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and associated equipment related to CSA’s premises.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions.
Conduct thorough analyses and simulations to optimise system performance and reliability.
Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and incorporating cutting-edge technologies into designs.
Align the planning of electrical projects with overall project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
Manage the work of electrical specialist contractors and professional engineers, to ensure contract agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily before issuing the Completion Certificate.
Set up a smart facilities management technology operation to enable buildings to be run more cost-effectively for energy sustainability in tenanted offices.
Manage all electrical operation issues with the landlord including the rectification of defects within the Defects Liability Period (DLP), and project manage the design and renovation of a smart office from pre-tender to post-project completion.
Perform any other tasks assigned pertaining to electrical and energy sustainability.
Requirements
Tertiary education in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or equivalent in the Built Environment.
Prior experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering roles managing system design and development and deploying smart technologies to enhance building operations is preferred.
Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex electrical and energy-related issues.
Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with project teams and landlords.
Familiarity with BCA regulations and electrical engineering codes of practice.
Ability to plan and execute routine energy consumption audits to ensure efficient use of energy in tenanted premises.
Note: CSA will be shifting to Punggol Digital District (PDD) in the year 2026.
