Description Overview Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Global Leading Hedge Fund (Singapore Office). We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a global technology team based in Singapore. This is a hands-on role at the core of a fast-moving financial environment, where the availability, speed, and resilience of systems are mission-critical. What You’ll Do Manage regional networking and voice systems, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity. Operate and improve a global VMware estate and enterprise storage platforms. Run monitoring, backup, and alerting systems to keep critical services resilient. Act as an escalation point for complex desktop and server issues. Lead infrastructure rollouts, upgrades, and migrations. Strengthen cyber defenses and enforce best practices. Contribute to continuity planning and testing to protect against outages. Document infrastructure designs and operational processes for consistency. Provide occasional office-based support and be part of an on-call rotation. What You Bring 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure roles, ideally in trading, banking, or other performance-critical industries. Deep knowledge of Cisco networking and unified communications. Strong VMware administration skills and solid experience with enterprise storage. Scripting and automation ability (PowerShell strongly preferred). Familiarity with modern monitoring stacks (Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus). A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects on time and under pressure. Nice to Have Knowledge of endpoint protection and modern backup technologies. Exposure to containerised environments such as Docker or Kubernetes. Experience with additional enterprise storage platforms.
