Role Summary Lead strategic sourcing and procurement across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Develop, implement, and govern regional sourcing strategies, policies, and frameworks. Manage critical supplier relationships and negotiate favourable contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance. Support the APAC President and senior stakeholders with timely, accurate information and data-driven recommendations for critical sourcing decisions. Drive and manage the regional product localization initiative , including recommending optimal product supply chain routes and in-sourcing. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Cost Reduction: Identify, analyze, and execute opportunities to reduce expenditure by consolidating regional orders and optimizing procurement processes. Supplier Management: Evaluate, select, and manage key suppliers; negotiate advantageous terms; and assess/mitigate associated risks. Compliance & Alignment: Ensure sourcing activities comply with group standards and legal requirements; collaborate with cross-functional teams (SCM, Sales, etc.) to align strategies with regional objectives. Localization: Analyze regional product demand and lead initiatives for in-sourcing/local manufacturing of products. Required Qualifications Experience: 8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with exposure to product management . Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multiple priorities independently. Creative thinking to develop innovative sourcing strategies. Bonus: Experience in manufacturing and operations , particularly within the plastic injection moulding industry.
