Senior Research Engineer, Autonomous Systems and Robotics, ARTC We are seeking a talented and experienced Robotics Engineer with expertise in mobile manipulator and humanoid motion planning with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects. The candidate will play a pivotal technical role in developing smart robotic solutions, ensuring they perform efficiently and intelligently. Experience with robot vision and/or ROS 2 (Robot Operating System) is an advantage. Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced trajectory and motion planning algorithms to optimize manipulator movements and achieve collision‐free motion in various applications. Applying deep technical expetise in kinematics and control to improve motion accuracy, flexibility, and task efficiency for robotic manipulators. Support integration of machine learning techniques, including deep‐learning methods, to enhance robot control and decision‐making processes, making our robots more adaptable and intelligent. Applying computer vision and image processing techniques to improve robot perception and object recognition capabilities. Continuously research and implement state‐of‐the‐art algorithms and methodologies to improve robot performance and efficiency. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and researchers, to achieve project goals. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and researchers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team. Contribute to project planning, proposal writing and technical reviews, ensuring successful translation of research outcomes into deployable systems. Engage with internal and external stakeholders such as research collaborators, industry partners and end‐users to gather requirements, provide technical updates and ensure proposed solutions meet technical and business objectives. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in manipulator trajectory planning and mobile robot navigation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Matlab highly desirable. Experience leading technical teams or project workstreams, with the ability to drive execution and maintain technical excellence. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and present technical findings. A passion for robotics and a desire to stay updated with the latest developments in the field. Strong commitment to solving technical challenges in the field of robotics, approaching obstacles with positive and determined mindset. Experience in open‐source machine learning techniques, with knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch for building and trainingneuralnetworks.
