Job Responsibilities
Manage and lead the QS team in contract documentation and management to achieve project requirements.
Manage the tendering process, analyze and evaluate tenders.
Set up, implement and monitor project cost plans.
Attend site briefings before tendering the project.
Drive the identification of new client opportunities in assigned industry verticals to help achieve revenue targets.
Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings and materials; obtain subcontractor quotations for various trades.
Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities, and discuss with management for final submission.
Follow up with tender questionnaire replies and interviews for final submission.
Monitor progress and liaise with vendors.
Control all stages of projects within predetermined budgets and expenditures, including submissions for progress claims, quotations, and VO submissions.
Prepare final accounts and document control.
Monitor and track project progress, responsible for measurement and valuation of variations in work during the contract, and agreement of interim payments and final accounts.
Establish business contacts and information gathering channels for collation and broadcast of market/client intelligence to various account teams.
Job Requirements
You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated, and an independent individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong skills relevant to the scope of work; able to work in a team and independently, and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to perform under tight schedules and pressure.
Diploma/Degree in QS course or equivalent.
At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the ID industry.
Able to guide and develop less experienced teammates.
Local working experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.
Knowledge of all tender portals will be an advantage.
Proficient in Auto CAD and MS Office.
Knowledge of interior design works including government, commercial, and retail projects.
