As a Senior Software Engineer , you will leverage extensive full-stack software skills in a modern and rapidly evolving development environment, while being deeply integrated into a broader team on the leading edge of financial innovation. Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute code as a key member of a technical team.
- Guide and participate in code reviews to ensure technical quality.
- Own deliverables from design through to release, collaborating with business stakeholders and team members.
- Improve our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in partnership with DevOps.
- Work with Data teams to evolve business-critical data models.
- Expand automated testing and participate in regular security reviews.
- Stay current with new technologies and champion team-wide best practices, sharing insights to refine our stack and processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of blockchain principles, smart contracts, and decentralized architectures.
- Proficiency in at least two modern languages , Go, Ruby on Rails, or similar).
- Track record in developing scalable, secure, cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with testability principles and patterns (TDD or similar).
- Solid experience with GitHub/Bitbucket in collaborative teams.
- Proactive, constructive code review habits.
- Expertise in data modeling for both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
- Experience with API-driven and service-oriented architectures.
- Hands-on blockchain development (Ethereum/Solidity or similar) would be an added bonus.
