Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine chemical analysis of plating baths, ensuring accuracy and precision in test results.
  • Maintain bath chemistry within specified limits by adding required chemicals, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize plating formulations and additive systems, leveraging knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot abnormal plating concentration results, utilizing problem-solving skills and collaboration with process engineers.
  • Document test results, chemical additions, and bath maintenance, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for chemical processes, promoting consistency and quality control.
  • Conduct chemical inventory management, optimizing supply chain logistics and minimizing waste.
  • Train technicians on safe chemical handling and best practices, enhancing team knowledge and expertise.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, with 1-3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
