About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Group Wholesale Banking and Market Operations provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
Perform BAU processing in the form of Account opening/closing/maintenance.
Support User Access administration through application/deletion of system apps and accesses.
Adhere to established procedures for compliance, proactively identifying gaps for potential streamlining.
Work in partnership with Ops Control team and internal risk units to drive greater efficiency through automation of risk and assurance.
Support the Division's projects and carry out any other adhoc duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in Account Maintenance or Risk related role
Meticulous and detail oriented with high standards of accuracy
Proficient in MS Excel (Macros, Visual Basic), Powerpoint, Word; programming would be a plus
Motivated, self starter with positive attitude who can work independently
Strong analytical, time-management and multi-tasking skills
Team player
Effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of financial products and general banking operations
1-2 years experience in a Bank setting
