Serving the oil and gas, windfarm and civil construction markets, MENCK's hammer technology is able to operate in some of the most hostile climates around the world.
MENCK is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team on a full time, permanent basis at our site in Tuas, Singapore.
The successful candidate will manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and maximising warehouse productivity.
The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.
To be successful in this role you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader.
An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organisational and time management skills.
Duties
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy
- Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerised inventory, and reconciles any differences
- Replenishes stock and inventory as needed
- Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse
- Transfers inventory from one warehouse to another for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule
- Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
- Resolves routine equipment issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Singapore PR or Citizenship is preferred
