We are seeking a scientific content editor with a strong background in journal editing to oversee the peer review and editorial processes. This is a full-time editorial position based in Singapore. Responsibilities: Evaluate submissions and oversee the peer review and editorial process. Supervise the scientific content and quality of the journal. Recruit high-quality research, commission, and manage a series of high-quality reviews and editorial content. Build relationships with researchers and represent the journal at scientific conferences and institutional visits. Contribute to the broader programs of the journal and help shape the future of scientific communication. Requirements: A PhD in molecular biology, biomedicine, life sciences, or related fields. Ability to thinkcritically about a wide range of scientific issues. Good communication skills in English. Interest in engaging with the scientific community. Talent for distilling complex concepts and communicating them clearly. Ability to work well in different team environments. Strong time management and organizational skills. Interest in or experience with STM (Science, Technology, and Medicine) academic publishing. We expect at least two years of editing experience for the Scientific Editor position, while the Associate Scientific Editor position does not require any prior editing experience.
