Description What the role is: You will be a subject matter expert in innovation projects in various IT domains and will play an active role in the academic, professional & personal development of your learners to prepare them for work & life.What you will be working on: Develop course including curriculum development, course delivery and project supervisionSpearhead and identify new project opportunities with the industryPlan, lead, manage and undertake industry projects to fulfil the required project deliverablesWhat we are looking for: At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT-related fieldRelevant qualification in the area of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related fields of studyProfessional certification in Cloud, SysOps and/or DevOps in either AWS, Azure or GCPStrong interest to engage in innovative projects and trainingsIdeally possess a strong background in successfully managing and architecting IT projectsKnowledgeable and experienced in working within an Agile development environment with emphasis on DevOps methodologiesPossess a passion for working with youths, nurturing them and moulding their charactersExperience in any of the following would be advantageous: CI tools such as Jenkins, Atlassian products, GitCI/CD processes for mobile appsContainer technologies such as DockerManaging Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) environments and shell scriptingManaging AWS-based services and resources, serverless and micro-service architectureInfrastructure provisioning / configuration tools such as Ansible and TerraformWorking knowledge of complex web hosting configuration components (including firewalls, load balancers, web servers, app servers etc.)Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) #LI-HybridAbout Nanyang Polytechnic Nanyang Polytechnic is committed to providing quality education and training to prepare our graduates for life and work, equipping them to contribute to the technological, economic and social development of Singapore.
