Overview Cook is responsible for overall operation, hire stall purchase food and stock, and ensure everyone is trained on proper food preparation, proper and legal alcoholic beverage service, kitchen safety techniques and understanding health standards. Exceptional people management skills to lead, motivate and develop teams. Promote good relations with staff, contractors and management. Screens job applicants, hires new employees, and supervises, counsels staff as well as recommends promotions, transfers and dismissals. Supervising multidisciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security. Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to the staff. Ensure the operation runs smoothly, including rotas, staffing levels, recruitment and HR issues, conducting audits and ordering suppliers and amenities to meet operational requirements. Take overall responsibility for the practical organization of the day-to-day cleaning operation. Undertaking necessary administration and paperwork and any other duties or responsibilities assigned. Offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants. Stays open until the last customer leaves. Cleans up after business hours. Job Requirements At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in this related field is required. Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal skills. Good work ethic, ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
