Regional Director of Sales And Marketing for a global client in the automotive industry. Key Objectives Contribute to and provide guidance on the go-to-market plans for each country or region, ensuring alignment with the overall global strategy. Implement and adapt sales and marketing strategies tailored to each specific market. Oversee the deployment and monitoring of commercial strategies and performance throughout the year. Support product and service planning to ensure alignment with market needs and effective use of development resources. Develop and strengthen the organization to support sustained sales growth, including the implementation of standardized sales methodologies and certification programs across international operations. Ensure achievement of quantitative and qualitative commercial objectives through: In-depth understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements. Leadership of marketing and sales initiatives. Deployment and refinement of commercial policies as needed. Oversight and control of all key business and performance metrics. Responsibilities Strategic Market Management Define and execute market and client strategies for the international business unit, supporting operational teams in effective implementation. Coordinate the rollout of go-to-market strategies across all regions, including market diagnosis, planning, and execution. Communicate strategic direction and market approach clearly to operational teams to ensure consistent alignment. Design, organize, and implement marketing processes that define market positioning and commercial offerings in line with strategic objectives. Validate brand positioning, partner selection, and product portfolio by segment and market. Manage the product and service roadmap, approving market launches in coordination with global and regional teams. Contribute to and validate communication and distribution strategies in collaboration with country managers. Organizational Development & Leadership Optimize the commercial organization by directing management resources and budgets toward business objectives. Define personnel requirements and organizational structures, and oversee training and professional development programs. Lead, coach, and motivate teams to enhance collaboration, capability, and performance. Ensure effective deployment of sales and marketing support processes within the business unit. Business Intelligence & Systems Deploy and manage systems for market, product, and competitor intelligence (e.g., CRM, BI tools). Ensure robust processes for product performance monitoring and market analysis. Promote the sharing of marketing and communication tools for greater efficiency and consistency. Coordinate the implementation of digital and e-commerce platforms and customer engagement systems. Oversee forecasting processes and ensure data-driven decision-making across markets. Resource & Performance Management Manage international team resources, ensuring optimal allocation and effective collaboration. Support HR in harmonizing compensation and benefits frameworks across regions. Deliver the sales budget and strategic targets, providing operational support to local teams to achieve business goals. Oversee the management of shared global resources, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness across functions. Candidate Profile & Requirements Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in regional or global sales and marketing leadership roles, covering both Europe and Asia. Background from leading consumer goods is highly desirable. Strong expertise in go-to-market strategy, business development, and cross-functional leadership across diverse markets. Proven track record of driving sales growth, implementing global strategies, and adapting to local market conditions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in multicultural and matrix environments. Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach. Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
