Operations Specialist 1 - Japanese linguist
You will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and processing Safety data and information from various sources, ensuring compliance with regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal guidelines. Your role will involve distributing reports/data to internal and external parties under the guidance of senior team members. Fluency in Japanese and certification at JLPT N3/NAT Q3 level is a mandatory requirement for this position.Your essential functions will include prioritizing and completing assigned trainings on time, processing Safety data according to regulations and project requirements, performing Pharmacovigilance activities such as collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AE) information, database entry, coding AE and Products, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. You will need to comply with project processes, SOPs, and customer requirements, while also identifying and addressing quality issues and mentoring new team members.In addition to the primary responsibilities, you may be required to perform medical reviews of non-serious adverse events and adverse drug reactions, ensuring data accuracy and completeness according to guidelines. You will collaborate with various functional teams and healthcare professionals to address project-related issues and communicate effectively with clients when necessary.To be considered for this role, you should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, preferably in a scientific or healthcare discipline, along with a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field and up to 3 years of relevant experience, including Pharmacovigilance experience. Good knowledge of medical terminology, Safety Databases, regulatory requirements, and Microsoft Office is essential. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demands.Your success in this role will depend on your ability to maintain high-quality standards, establish effective working relationships, and contribute as a team player. You should demonstrate IQVIA core values in your daily tasks and be willing to learn new skills across Safety service lines.
