- Support procurement by providing technical inputs to ensure materials and services meet operational requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements in instrumentation systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Supervise contractors and vendors, reviewing work procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in relevant meetings and initiatives, contributing to business and operational decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
•
NOTE: The work location is on Jurong Island
- Basic understanding of DCS system, with the ability to navigate and view DCS systems and interfaces.
- Familiarity with local technical standards and regulations in Singapore is a must
- Ability to easily interpret P&ID diagrams and related instrument installation drawings.
- Proficient in using CAD for drafting and office software for documentation, capable of modifying or redesigning field drawings as needed.
- Fluent in more than 2 language is preferred, with strong skills in drafting formal letters and documents in English.
- Possess a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least three (3) years of working experience in the instrumentation field, or a diploma in the same fields with at least seven (7) years of working experience in instrumentation field
- Proficient in the codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff
- Hands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes
