Interested applicants are invited to apply directly at the NUS Career Portal Your application will be processed only if you apply via NUS Career Portal We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Job Description We are hiring a Research Engineer (RE) to develop a novel knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating current computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element modelling (DEM) coupling methods.The selected RE is required to:• Develop a novel knowledge-driven AI framework for accelerating CFDDEM simulation• Validate the proposed framework and applying it to granular materials related engineering such as geotechnical, coastal and chemical engineering.• Develop a knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating coupled multi-phase modelling.Job Requirements • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher.• Demonstrate a research or professional background aligned with the development of the topic. Experience in multiple areas is highly desirable.• Exhibit proficiency in coupled CFD DEM modelling (C++) and AI-related algorithms (python).• Display strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills.• Open to fixed-term contract. • Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
