Electrical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including power generation controls and switchgear layout.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, prints or similar job write-up.
  • Design diesel and gas engine generator control interface with PLC control logic programming.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, including AutoCAD and E3 documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to provide technical specifications and attend customer meetings.
  • Coordinate with customers to resolve technical issues and meet customer requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot control issues remotely and on-site.
  • Monitor projects through completion, providing corrections and modifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, including power engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation controls and/or electrical switchgear or automation control.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, E3, or other CAD tools.
  • Experience with PLC and HMI programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, prints or similar job write-up.
  • Good knowledge in design of diesel and gas engine generator control interface with PLC control logic programming.
  • Knowledge in network communication interfacing and SCADA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel overseas.
