Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure and robust network security.

This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure in AWS or Azure. The successful candidate will have expertise in Windows and Linux environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and system performance tuning.

The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with networking components, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching. Additionally, the candidate will be proficient in implementing cloud security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Automating deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, or Bash is also a key aspect of this role. The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security vulnerabilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations and hybrid environments is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the field with a strong Windows, Linux, and networking background.
  • Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Strong experience with Windows and Linux Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, SSH, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.
  • Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience in pre-sales architecture, proposal writing, and technical client presentations.
